Who We Are
Open year round, we make sure your fishing trip or getaway is always just a reservation away. Experience the warmth of our cottage rentals during the fall and winter, creating a peaceful retreat. With the arrival of spring on April 1st, we open 7 days a week and launch into our fishing season, offering a variety of packages until early fall.
As a fully licensed charter, we pride ourselves on adhering to the highest standards of maritime operation and safety protocols. Our qualifications include:

I’ll be back forsure for another fishing tripWent out with Southern Limits today on Erie with my dad for my birthday. my only wish I joked was to put my dad on a Dirty 30 and man did Kyle deliver in spades!! first fish was a monster twelve pounder. we pulled 9 big girls today weighing over 60 lbs. Kyle is an awesome guy and an amazingly talented fisherman. even during the slow times he was very friendly and a lot of fun to just hang out and chat with. there is no one better on Erie then Kyle. I’m just learning Erie myself and starting to get better out of Maitland, but will definitely be booking more time out there with him any time I can.
Had a beauty day on Erie the smorning with kyle, started off slow but with his knowledge he was able to put us on them and we landed some absolute tanks! 10.2 lbs topped the day with 13 landed!
Had a great day on Lake Ontario with Kyle. We went 11 for 14 and took some hearty fish home. Was a bonus having Kyle fillet the fish for us as well. Comfortable boat, lots of room to fit 3 or 4 buddies. Kyle was very active on the set and handling of the rods setup. Thanks Kyle, we will be back!
Enjoyed three incredible days of fishing with Captain Kyle. Caught monster lake trout up to 24 lbs and salmon on Lake Ontario the first day, then two more days on Lake Erie pounding walleye. Kyle then cooked up the walleye in his deep fryer, needless to say there were no leftovers. The kids also enjoyed kayaking in front of his cottage where we stayed, catching smallmouth bass and sheepshead, releasing them for others to enjoy. If you want the total fishing package, call Kyle and book your next trip.
Highly recommend staying at the cottage and planning a chartered day of fishing with Kyle! The cottage has a beautiful view and beachfront and is immaculately maintened, clean, and equipped. We had a great day fishing Lake Ontario. Landed big fish and by the numbers. I learned alot from Kyle on our charter and could not have asked for a better experience! We had a fantastic time here at Southern Limits Outdoors. We stayed at the cabin for the weekend then we meet up with Kyle to go fishing on Lake Ontario. This place is great for couples or families. The cabin is fully equipped and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub under the starry night and sunset by the beach. We definitely highly recommend to stay here. Thank you Kyle and Southern Limits Outdoors for a great experience we will definitely be back!
We stayed at the cottage on the lake for the May long weekend. The place was beautiful. Not only was the cottage super cute and very clean, but also- everything was thoughtfully done. We came in from an almost 4 hour trip and as soon as we walked in, we noticed a little basket of goodies; just if you needed a little snack or a drink-which we totally did.
The beds were really comfortable, with the BEST blankets. The fully fenced in backyard was really large. It had a monster tire swing, a nice fire pit(tons of fire wood), big back deck, BBQ and even a new hot tub! Just across the street is Lake Erie. There is a big deck that you can sit down to relax and overlook the water if you want, or take a few more steps down and you have your own little private beach. It was chilly when we went, so we didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks or water toys that were provided to us, but we’d definitely do that when we come back in the warmer weather. We still spent a lot of time on the deck though. It was private and peaceful. I thought it was the perfect place to stay. Whether you’re looking to unwind and relax, have some fun, or make some awesome memories with your family!

Iβve known Kyle for about 12 years now. Iβve hunted and fished with him. I can honestly say heβs a very honest and reputable person. He runs his business with pride and dedication. No matter what happens out on the lake, he always does his best to get you on fish and works his butt off even though the live well is usually full. I can consider Kyle a very good friend and he runs a top notch fishing charter.
Went out with Kyle yesterday and we hammered them got some of the biggest walleye the groups seen and all in all we had a blast and will be back next year! highly highly recommend Southern Limits.

An amazing gem of a cottage! We fell in love with the cottage and quiet neighbourhood. The cottage had everything we could need and was spotless with tasteful touches. The beach access and lake side deck are fantastic! Backyard, firepit and hot tub were also well enjoyed! Great host – great place – already booked again. Thanks Kyle and Victoria!

We had a blast on both lake Ontario and Lake Erie Kyle is a great guy and put us on fish the accommodations where great his cabin on Erie was comfortable and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend him this will become a yearly trip for our group
Great guide, kyle knows where to catch the fish and when they are biting. My husband went and had a great day on the water. Caught lots of perch, perfect eating size. He might want to go on a walleye charter next.

Kyle is a great Charter Captain. He knows where the fish are and he has a great network of fisherman that all share info to maximize your fishing experience. Kyle’s journey in the outdoor industry spans over a remarkable 15 years, a passion that started with memories of fishing with his father. From those early days on the lake, casting lines for walleye and salmon, his love for fishing deepened into an addiction. By 16, Kyle had plunged into the competitive world of fishing tournaments, honing his skills and knowledge. After years of thriving, he felt a calling for a new adventure. This led him to embrace the role of a captain, a decision driven by his desire to share his expertise and offering folks from all over the world an experience like no other.
Our Location
We are based out of Dunnville, Ontario and are nestled along serene lakefront Lake Erie. We are approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from major airports in Toronto or Buffalo. Our charter is fully licensed and easily accessible yet feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With direct access to prime fishing spots; it’s a place where memories are bound to be made.

You will be fishing from a 19-foot King Fisher boat. This boat is fully equipped with the best fishing gear available to ensure a great fishing experience.
